Before we get into the specifics of this position, we’d love to introduce ourselves briefly… We’re dreamers. Seven years ago, we envisioned a way to pursue our passions, contribute to Manitoban culture, and build something special. That vision was a brewery which would become our love letter to Manitoba. To honour our province’s past as we shaped its future, we named it Nonsuch.

Opportunity to grow


As our young company grows, new positions develop for our Nonsuch team members. These opportunities are both linear (such as moving from ‘assistant brewer’ to ‘brewer’) and lateral (shifting into other parts of the business).

 
 

Primary Responsibilities


Simply put, the primary responsibility of the sales rep is to sell our products.

KEEP THE PEOPLE HAPPY

We’re looking for a sales rep who can grow and maintain relationships with customers, accounts, partners, distributors, retailers, licensees, and colleagues in Manitoba’s food/alcohol industry and community.

  • Remain active and in good standing within these communities.

  • Manage a list of key accounts and keep them happy as you grow them.

  • Articulate the essence and value of Nonsuch and keep it top of mind within these communities

Design & Develop sales ideas

We’re looking for a sales rep who can imagine, design, evaluate, develop, and lead sales-forward revenue-generating ideas.

  • Initiate new sales ideas as a self-starter

  • Generate new business for Nonsuch

  • Improve efficiency by building sales-related processes and systems.

support the business

We’re looking for a sales rep who can integrate with all our various departments and be a team-player.

  • Finance Department – Manage sales forecasts to support our finance team and report on sales as per our internal processes

  • Brewery Production Department – Translate sales forecasts into production needs to support our brewery production team and work in conjunction with the production team on product development

  • Misc – Collaborate with other staff to achieve various company goals, develop professionally as per the coaching/training of your manager.


Requirements

  • Own your own vehicle and maintain a valid drivers license

  • A love for Manitoba, Winnipeg and the beverage industry


Salary

This is a salaried position based on experience.
