Have you felt the chill in the morning air? Us neither, we’re in full denial that fall is around the corner as we squeeze every last drop from this season. Rice Lager with Pu’erh Tea
La Molière
Citrus Sour
Nut Brown
Vessel Beer co.
Moscow Mule
Bullhorn
nut brown
This ironically nut-free small batch is the little sibling to a batch of Old Ale X where we re-used the same grains (aka a parti-gyle brew)
-
The style is named in reference to the nutty characteristics gracefully imparted by the limited use of black malt.
Despite having exactly NO NUTS in the beer, the result is nutty with notes of caramel, toffee, raisin, and dark cherry propped up with a strong hop backbone.

rice lager with pu’erh tea
You've had a lager before...
Maybe even a craft rice lager...
but you’ve never experienced anything like this.
-
We sourced a special order of aged, fermented white Pu'erh tea directly from China for this small batch of beer.
This tea was grown in the Yunnan province, considered to be the birthplace of all tea – after centuries of the use of cuttings and graftings, tea trees from all over the world can be traced back to this magical region.
Pu'erh is a variety of tea where controlled microbial fermentation (or 'wet piling') happens after the tea leaves have been sufficiently dried and rolled. As the tea undergoes fermentation, it continues to oxidize until the desired flavours are reached. This particular batch is a white tea (meaning it uses the most delicate new growth of leaves) which has been aged for five years after being harvested.
The result: something you have to try for yourself to believe.
To allow the signature earthy and floral characteristics from the tea to shine through, we brewed a crisp, clean rice lager.

la molière craft pilsner
A classic crowd-pleaser.
-
ABV – 4.8%
Ideal Temp – 6-8ºC
Glass – Pilsner
Vegan – YesWhy is this a ‘craft’ pilsner?
The newest supporting cast member of this pilsner is Perle hops, which deliver a subtle but moving floral and spicy performance alongside a cleaner bitterness. To help bring down the house, we've also brought down the ABV to 4.8% so you can enjoy multiple encores. We're confident fans of the original will applaud this new version which retains its signature full body.

citrus sour
Brimming with orange, lemon, and lime notes this sour ale is the perfect thirst quencher for anyone who loves all things citrus.
